Afternoon everyone, been tidying the front garden it was looking rather unruly so I’m pleased to have got that looking more presentable,
LB Soggy shopping delivery for you this morning, the rain has just arrived here but we do need it,
Hello Pauline nice to see you,
Rosie How are you? Enjoying that warm weather hopefully,
Rubee You sound very busy at home, hope you find some time to relax,
Lily Strange that the lettuce & coleslaw was missing from your shopping, there’s always something which is hard to come by,
Islandchoress sorry to hear you have been in hospital best wishes to you, hope you make a good recovery.

Afternoon all. Warm and close today. Been trimming a couple of hedges and shrubs and worrying about how very dry it is out there - trees going over and all sorts. Thank goodness we have a little rain just now. If it rained for 2 weeks solid it wouldn't be a bad thing.

Oooh - thanks for the quiz LB (rhubarb fool for me please!). Let's have a go at some:

    3 - Eyes wide open
    6 - Kings Cross
    8 - Kind words
7 - On the wide open road
13 - Burning the candle at both ends
    18 - Underground station

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Good start there T'bird. Rain finally stopped. Perhaps tomorrow will be a better day. After I get back from seeing the rellies I might think about cutting the hedge. My sis and brother-in-law will be back from France. Cannot believe where that fortnight has gone.
