    So its a cucumber Chey. I think it may be a little late for it to produce anything now but you never know. You might get a gherkin!

    Good morning all. Planning a trip to my favourite GC for lunch today. My sister needs some more plants for her new front garden bed. Hoping fiancé will start sanding in front room today the plan is to get it all decorated then once kitchen is done it’s new carpet and furniture so really hoping the house is finished by end of September. We have cleared all the weeds and scruffy planting from island bed in front garden and pruned conifers so planning to put down old carpet from front room as membrane then white stones all over and place pots in strategic positions. If the front room is our new living room I want something nice to look out onto. We are not allowed to cut down the conifers unfortunately I do dislike them. 
    It’s dry here but grey I am longing for blue skies and sunshine probably be lovely next week when I am back at work.

    Morning Chive and Debs. Yes, Chive, my parcel arrived and they were some of the plants I was expecting so I was very pleased I read their email before I left home. I'm expecting a new water butt today. My water company periodically offers cheap water butts and compost bins and I decided to go for a slimline water butt that I can use by my shed. It comes with the stand and all the necessary accessories and for less than half the price as those on the famous auction site or the South American river site. I will have to get a little gutter kit for the shed though. Chive how was your tea and cake afternoon? I do hope the weather was kind to you. Hazel will be busy with her visitors today.
