    Phew - it's hot out there. Soil is baked hard - fingers crossed for some much needed rain soon.

    Just seen Lily has suggested bindweed for number 12 - could well be. On which note can anybody explain why I have drought-tolerant euphorbias wilting in the heat and drought but the bl**dy bindweed is growing through them at a rate of knots???🤬

    Evening all. T'Bird, that is the perversity of weeds. Whatever I throw at my mares tail it comes back ten times. I have given up and just pull it out when I see it. The same could be said for wretched crocosmia. 30 years on and it still persists. I just gave up on that one too.
