@Ladybird4 Good morning to you, too and good morning to everyone.  Finally connected again - and it seems that the summer weather is finally here - well almost!!  My taddies have turned into delightful little green froggies and they enjoy sitting on some logs that I placed at the side of the pond.  Vege garden growing well, just watering and weeding to look after now.  Can you spot the frogs?  They are eensy weensy.  Have a good day, everyone.
A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

Oh hello Debs and Tui, lovely to see you again. Major storms here for the last 5 days but at least my house hasn't been struck by the lightning and the road drains have been dealing quite satisfactoriy with the flash floods. Debs I hope work goes well today. Tui, are those little blobs, that look like broad bean seeds, your wee froglets? I love the cheery nasturtiums too.

That’s if they stay around long enough.LB I hope that the weather settles down for your journey . I would be concerned if you drove while an electric storm was in progress .

A very good morning Ruby. A car is one of the safest places to be in an electric storm Ruby I would be more concerned about lots of water on the road.

Looking like a wet day for us, the garden still needs it so I’m pleased to have the rain.

Morning. First day in ages I can say “No gardening” - everything’s wet through after several hours of most welcome rain overnight. Much needed and no complaints if it continues for a day or two.
Lovely pic of the baby frogs Tui. Love seeing baby everythings at this time of year. The garden is full of immature birds at the moment.
Are you at work today Chive? It must be very strange with so few children around. I wonder when things will start to feel more like normal? Seems a long way off in many ways.
Have a good time with your bestie LB (if you go). Will you have to sit in your cars with your individual flasks of tea?
ThinkI might catch up with a bit of paperwork and do some sewing today.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Morning Chive and T'Bird. I still have time to make a decision about going to my Bestie's. Not looking to positive right now.
I meant to say earlier that yesterday I had to get up the ladder (not the big one as the middle sized one was tall enough) to unblock the gutter and downspout near the back door as a rampant clematis (montana) had decided to move in. It got a severe haircut - wish I could - and the donwspout was then clear. I tested the water flow with a couple of small watering cans and now all is sorted I should avoid a repeat of the Angel Falls lookalike that cascaded from the end of the guttering. That is one job I really enjoy. I wonder why I am so unmotivated to deal with Col TT's stuff.

Just seen on the news that Dame Vera Lynn has passed away. Such a true legend who will always be remembered by me for the classic 'We'll Meet Again'.
