You have been a brave little soldier Chey. I have NO clue what a screwball ice cream is but you enjoy it - you deserve it. I'm off to Google screwball ice cream now!

SGL very easy to make cordial and tastes really good, elderflower is one of my favourite flavours. Just hoping gooseberries ripen soon. Finally dry here now and home from work hoping for a sunny day in the garden tomorrow.

Goodness Chey, I'd forgotten Screwball  ice creams, didn't think they made them anymore.
Now it's time to say night night.   Sweet dreams everyone

Happy Summer Solstice everyone. Sorry to hear that you had some trouble getting on here yesterday SGL. Let's hope it was just a blip. I think my nephew might turn up today to finish the gate. He never give any warning - he just arrives.

Good morning all. Sunny and warm here so a bit of gardening required. Feeling a bit down as back in February we had planned to have a party today to celebrate Moms birthday (24th) and try to compensate for the very badly organised wake she had by inviting friends and family to celebrate her life. Not happening now, only a small thing I know and not at all important in the grand scheme of things but feel I have let her down. Maybe next year?

Mornng Debs. You have not let her down at all. If the situation eases towards the end of this year then perhaps you could combine it with the seasonal celebrations and then, as you said, have another celebration next year round about the 24th. She would certainly have understood.
