Good morning all! Pouring down Ā again here but I think sunshine is forecast for next week. Hoping so as the poppies I managed to grow , first time ever I have successfully done so, are looking very forlorn. Also need the gooseberries to ripen so I can use my home made cordial to make gooseberry and elderflower jam. Work this afternoon so unmentionables this morning to give me a free weekend to enjoy. Hope everyone has a good Friday planned? What are you all up to?

Good morning to all. I still have a lot of work, especially in the garden.Ā At least school is over next week, so I'll have much more time for other stuff. The weather is still very unstable with often changes of sun and rain.Ā It's not hot like last year. My sister will arrive 1 July, so I must also prepare for that.Ā I heard for Dame Vera Lynn. Morning everyoneĀ I slept in late too, must admit I feel much better for it. Raining again and so very cold and windy. My poor roses are getting a battering. There are petals everywhere.......although it does look pretty š¤£ I've got cloth things in the whirly machine, goodness knows how I'm going to get those dry. Think I'll join Rubee with a cuppa, I need another too. See you later peeps šāāļø
The wedding is postponed to next year.Ā This situation with virus changed all plans.Ā Some of their friends from Germany was to come but now they all must work.Ā Situation here is almost normal but we still have some restrictions and must keep social distance.
Good morning SGL. My roses are getting battered too. I hadn't even managed to get all the camellia flowers raked up and now there is rose confetti everywhere. Thank you for the information Ante. I do hope that your sister is not too disappointed about the postponement. It will be all the sweeter next year when they look back on this craziness that caused it.
