Thanks LB, my sister is planting a lilac tree on Wednesday and hoping to get some of moms ashes to sprinkle in the planting hole first just waiting on mom’s husband to provide them. Mom loved lilac and lavender shades most of all.Â
I have some of my Mum's and Dad's ashes planted next to my Katsura tree. Some may think it odd but all we siblings have done that so we don't have to go too far to say 'Hello'. I chose the Katsura tree because that was Geoff Hamilton's favourite tree and he has one planted near his grave which I saw when I visited the churchyard he's buried in.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Good morning LB and Debs .Like LB said Debs ,you haven’t let your mum down ,and you will be able to celebrate her life later in the year . LB, sunshine , I hope your nephew comes and finishes your gate.
Morning Ruby. Sun has gone! Nephew is not coming up now until Tuesday - weather permitting. I've told him to spend some time with his wife as its the weekend and they are having my brother and sis-in-law round for a meal tomorrow.

Morning everyone Beautiful photo LB, love sunsets. Debs as others have said, you are not letting your mum down. You can celebrate her life later in the year. You can have your own little chat with her on the 24th. Perhaps pick some flowers from the garden and put next to a photo of her. Don't be hard on yourself, she would totally understand, sending a hug 🤗
Bit warmer than yesterday, no sun yet but at least it's dry at the moment. Hoping to get out in the garden and maybe a short walk later too. Take care everyone TTFN
Morning SGL. That is a sunrise picture over Stonehenge as its the Summer solstice today. I love sunsets too. Its very overcast here. Luckily I have done all the gardening I wanted to do today. I think my area might be one of those unlucky areas that catches a shower of rain today. Waterbutts are overflowing.

Haven't been to Stone Henge for years. We used to pass it.....and stop off....on our way to Devon and Cornwall.  Well all that rain didn't soften the earth up much. Still hard for digging, wanted to move a couple of plants. But where I want them to go is too hard. 😣 Weather isn't that great really, sun pops out now and again, but it's very cloudy.Â
Hello all, it’s intermittent here too Lily and looks like it may rain.  LB the door is open and I can hear the birds twittering and singing.  I love watching the sunset too.  Chive I’m just having a cup of tea and have received my Hello Kitty hairdryer through the post via Hermes.  It works fine and it’s lower setting will be more gentle on my hair than my old one.
