Lily this isn’t the place to discuss how I feel about the management of this pandemic so I will just say follow your own instincts and do what you feel is safe. I hope people will continue to get the support they need for as long as they need it.
Lovely day here got sister and close friend coming for tea in the garden. Fiancé starting his new job as a delivery driver today hoping it goes well. Lots to do for me to get house and garden tidy. Also need to pop to allotment to check on plants and probably do some watering. Hope you all get some of this sunshine!

Good morning everyone . I love to have tea and toast .My breakfast this morning was a little different to tea and toast :puffed wheat ,apricots ,figs ,prunes ,coconut chips ,variety of nuts .I rarely eat meat . This is my way of getting the nutrients I need . I eat very little during the day .Happy Birthday to your friend LB . Chive I dislike any kind of HW .But I guess it has to be done .
Lily , we don’t know what to do about going out . I haven’t ventured outside of the garden yet .OH and Rebecca have been to the chemist . I guess we will have to hope for the best and see how this virus progresses .Who would have thought this time last year that this terrible virus would create such devastation. Having said all that ,I am optimistic for the future .Debs ,enjoy your  your tea in the garden .

Good morning Debs and Hazel, Rosie and Ruby. Great news for your fiancé Debs. I think that having a purpose in these times is very important for mental health. Another tea in the garden
It is still not looking so rosy here I have to say but I suppose its still early-ish. My weather App says 68% chance of rain so I could be cancelling for today. I'll wait util nearer the time and make a decision then.
Hazel, I'm glad that the parcel turned up eventually. I agree with you about going back to old homes. There is something a little sad about that - thinking about the happy times you spent there. Never mind. You are making new memories now.

Good Morning Rubee, Sorry I missed your post before, your breakfast sounds very good. So far I have managed to sort out some paperwork & the rest will wait till after school now.
LB it will be a real shame if you have to postpone this get together, my fingers are crossed ☀️
    Enjoy your afternoon everyone.

Afternoon all, Weather is really gorgeous here.  Very sunny, cloudless sky and a light breeze.  Have been doing jobs in the garden and occasionally popping into the sitting room, where it is very cool, for a drink and short break.  Have also enjoyed some very yummy chocolate brownie and salted caramel ice cream.
Hope the weather improves for your get together LB. I'm still restricting who I see to one friend and First/Secondborn families.  I'm currently seeing the grandchildren on alternate weeks.  Its Merri and Mabel later this week.
    Stay safe everyone.

    Afternoon All,
Yvie that ice cream sounds delicious and absolutely necessary on a hot day too 😛
Rosie that’s really good to hear you’ve had a good sleep, I hope that continues for you.
It has been jolly warm here today and now I’m cooking a chilli for dinner, slightly mad idea 🥵
