Afties all. Had a wonderful few hours with my Bestie. It was way too hot to sit in the garden so our seats were positioned in the passage way outside her side door. It was shady and the breeze made everything very tolerable. She has lots of REAL plants there so we enjoy all the greenery as well. Ruby, you have not been very lucky with hose pipes recently have you? However, that is the third incident involving your good self so maybe you will be fine now. Chive, I always have tea when its hot weather. I find it cools me down and its refreshing too.
Before I left to go to my Bestie's, neighbour across the road called to invite me across to her garden at 18:00 for G & T's Something she promised we would do many weeks ago. I am looking forward to that too. As for those people on Brighton Beach. Speechless!

Hello T'Bird, you snuckered in there. Forgot to say that I hope that the car gets sorted Hazel, so you can visit your Mom without worrying about it.

Forgot to say the new hose is very good .It has brass fittings which should last . The spray head is a very tough plastic and the hose is covered in a nylon type fabric . If this doesn’t last ,it’s back to watering cans

I agree with you SGL. Even without Covid I would not subject myself to that madness.

Topbird enjoy your paddle, sounds like a nice way to spend the afternoon,
LB glad you enjoyed your chat with bestie, nicely finished off with a G&T with your neighbour, it’s a perfect day 🍸
Lily It wouldn’t appeal to me either sitting amongst all those crowds I don’t see the pleasure in that. Did your new mower arrive?
Rubee it sounds like a good hose for the garden, hope there are no more water surprises for you,
I’ve managed to cut the front grass, but the back garden is still too warm and the bees are enjoying all the clover bobs I don’t want to spoil it for them.

No Chive, had an email last night to say it would arrive between 7am ~7pm
So I was up just in case........i then had a phone call just after 11 to say they couldn't deliver it today after all, but will deliver it now on Saturday 🤦‍♀️

Still lovely enough to sit in the garden......can't believe the weather forecast for tomorrow and the weekend 😣

Evening all. Its been a lovely day today. Got to chat with my friends and the sun was perfect - just losing a bit of its ferocious heat when we sat in the garden with our G&Ts.
'sco delivery been and now I am chilling out. I am looking forward to standing outside in the rain tomorrow if its warm enough.
