Have seen these being made on TV a few times LB, try BBC good food. Absolutely schorchio all day and it's still hot now. Came over very dark around 6 o'clock, rained heavily for 20 minutes and that was it. Yvie, hope you feel better soonÂ
Goidnight LB, Rubee & Lily, Sorry to hear that you are suffering Yvie I hope it settles down soon, Hazel How lovely to see some of your family, I bet 23 is ruling the roost these days, Goodnight. Goodnight everyone xÂ
Happy Saturday morning everyone! I hope Ruby and Rosie weren't subjected to the giant hail that I've seen pictured on TV this morning. That must have caused carnage in some gardens:
These are examples of some that landed in parts of Sheffield and Leeds.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Good morning LB and all to follow. LB, soory to hear about the storm and hail. to hear I hope so that nobody has huge damages. I'm also scared of the hail because all my veggies are on open fields.
@D0rdogne_Damsel I do hope you have survived last night's storm and that there is no damage from the wind. We didn't feel a thing here. A couple of spots of rain at 4am and this morning high humidity - 95% - sky angry and overcast. Â
I suppose this hot weather will bring on those tomatoes and peppers - no good for lettuces!!
Enjoy your sunshine days - ours are still to come. Tui
