morning morning everyone.  Good to hear you’re okay Pauline, an early start.  LB it’s great we can now meet up with people and catch up together.  Yviestevie enjoy your time with bestie.  Ante your field looks great and a lot of hard work.  Chive I hope you get to see mum and your sister today.  Lily have you been out for another walk with oh?  Â
Rington's tea man has just called. I had forgotten he was calling back today. I am not short of tea, but I couldn't resist some biscuits. When he calls back in a fortnight, I could be in need of some coffee. Rain has eased Ruby so I'm risking Lily's TV. Its windy enough to get cloth things dry and I'm near enough for a quick dash and gather if needed.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Hello everyone. Early start as I am still sanding and painting the garage doors making the most of the awful weather we are having. Rain late in the afternoons - today the Tremontane is blowing a gale - but the sun has got his hat on!! Wow! @Ante30 great potato field. How do you store them without germination? @Pauline 7 - early start today and early finish. Do you get time to put your feet up in the afternoons? @Ladybird4 - so what is your Nectar of the Gods?  I hope you all have a pleasant day. Tui
Hello @tuikowhai34, Nectar of the Gods is tea. I have called it that since my Uni days - lost in the mists of time. Late sixties. All my mates called it that too. We didn't have an equivalent Ambrosia of the Gods but fish and chips would probably have featured very highly.

Back from trip to garden centre, bought a lovely varigated hebe and had long chat on the car park with a flask of tea and bar of chocolate. Have planned a trip for next week to a local reclamation yard/garden centre. Love looking at all the junk.
We have just done the SM run.......and run it was.......dodging the showers. Queue wasn't too bad when we pulled in so OH dropped me off at the coned off part and I joined the queue while he parked the car. By the time he joined me it was twice as long. It poured down while we were inside......you could hear it bouncing off the roof......and by the time we got out it had nearly stopped. I can now relax properly, everything essential done, except my work gear and that's swishing about in swishy thing. Have a good weekend everyone?Â
Yvie, so pleased that you had such a great time, and a plant just asked to be bought! I love reclamation yards too. Pauline, I am bringing my cloth things in as they dry - just in case. So far so good. The wind is doing its job well.

Rained for about 10 minutes this afternoon, there's still huge black clouds in the sky and it's very windy. We went for a walk past the duck pond and halfway to the village shops and back. Saw 4 horse riders along the way and a couple of dog walkers. Feels so very strange walking outside. Back home having a cuppa.
