Hi all, Successful trip to Ikea only in queue 40 minutes and got most of what I needed but it felt rather strange. I was buying what I needed not shopping if that makes sense?. Spent the afternoon putting stuff together and filling new shelves etc and hall and bathroom look better. Think I will leave it a while before I go again. No cinnamon buns Chey.
Chive I hope your mom can use the excuse of social distancing to avoid answering the door.

Glad you didn't have to queue too long Debs. Sorry you didn't get everything you needed, hopefully they will be in stock soon. They do deliver, I had a delivery of small items a few months ago, it only cost £3.95 We don't live very near an Ikea, it would have been a very long journey for the items I wanted.....just a few bits from the kitchen/market section.

Chive we belong to Neighbourhood watch and have stickers in our window by the door. We've had the odd knock on the door.......not for a few months because of lockdown........but we just point to the notice about cold calling and close the door.....if we've bothered to open it in the first place😉 I'm sure your neighbours will look after your mum knowing these people are in the area.

Good morning @Ladybird4 et al.  Yes, here too.  Very much rain.  We are really having the strangest Spring.  One minute temperatures above average for this time of year, then lower than average.  Sigh.  We just have to go with the flow.  Happy day everyone.

Morning Tui. Indeed we do. I think that my visit to see the relatives this morning will be scrapped. Not to worry we can still keep in touch. I will have a quick drive out just to charge the car's battery.
