Morning SGL and Ante. I am so glad that I got all that gardening done yesterday as now my green bin is full, ready for collection tomorrow. I think that today I will have to do what T'Bird was doing last week and that is, researching - in my case - laptops, as mine is now showing signs of its old age and I don't want it to get to a point where I lose precious photos etc. I need to dig out my external hardrive and do some transferring of files so that could be my wet weather Wednesday sorted. I'll post the quiz this afternoon.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Good morning ,tui ,LB ,Lily ,Ante and Chive and all to follow .Its a very damp day here . I hope that you all have a good day .Back when I am completely awake .
Hello Chive and Ruby. You weren't there when I posted Chive - you snuckered in. Have you had any change in your school regarding these latest statements about Primary Schools remaining closed now until September?

Morning Rubee have one of these ☕️ LB I’m very sneaky 😀 Not at the moment, reception and year 1 are in and Year 6 are back next week, but as for the remaining years I’m not sure.
Hi folks, Have had a busy morning loading up the car for a trip to the tip tomorrow and hosing down the bin area and drive. A robin kept us company collecting up all the worms etc that were revealed when we moved the rubbish.
Had a note through the door from the daughter of one of our neighbours to let us know that it's her mum and dads 65th wedding anniversary tomorrow. They were planning a party but obviously that wont happen now. We'll be popping over tomorrow to drop off card and plant and wish them well.
Good afternoon. LB, Chive and Lily I did go back to sleep for a few hours and feel better for it. A few probs getting online. I was looking rather bleached . It’s a wet day today. As you were saying earlier retail starts up again on the 15th and zoos and animal parks will open and dentis opening. I wont be in a rush to go. I wonder when opticians will open?. I was worried for the future of the inhabitants. Pansy if you’re looking in I hope you are feeling better after your courgette experience. LB I hope you research a suitable laptop as rain stops play.
Afternoon everyone, lots of rain here which is most welcome and sorely needed, hope Tbird is getting some of this on her garden too, Rosie glad you had some extra sleep, hope you feel more refreshed now, Hazel I’m pleased you’ve recovered from the sickness, rather worrying what caused it to come on like that. An easy day is called for, your OH is getting on well with his paintings a labour of love. School is going ok thank you I’m getting used to my new role, no lunches just supervising a small group, Yviestevie I do like a trip to the tip with a boot full, shame about your neighbours anniversary celebrations 65 years that’s astonishing!
Afties all. Yvie, its a shame about the neighbour's party but I'm sure they will be very chuffed (Ante = pleased) to get a card and plant from you. All these family get togethers, for happy or sad reasons, once this madness is over with will be amazing. I'm hoping the change of heart about zoos will help Chester Zoo to survive. Chive, its poured down on and off all day today. The council mowers arrived as a duo yesterday and were riding up and down the grass 'island' outside my house. The first time in 11 weeks. In fact on the Thursday clap for carers evenings my neighbour across the way used to shout to me to be careful not to get lost in the grass it was so tall! Anyway the two gang mowers did a great job although it would have been better if the mowers collected up the grass as well. However, that has never been the case so once the rain stops and it dries a bit, it will look just like a hay field out there. I love going to the tip to get rid of stuff but there is no way I am going there either if I have to book a slot. I think I will hire a small skip and load everything I want to get rid of into that and just have it taken away for me.
