Good morning to everyone and all asunder!  Windy and cool, the garden is drying up in spite of the intermittent rain we are having so I'd better get out and try and soak something.  Have a good day all.   Tui

Good morning Ante and Tui. Ante these are tiny little bulbs of a house plant called Oxalis triangularis or Purple Shamrock.

They are tender plants which is why I'm growing them as a house plant. You are having very severe weather aren't you? Enjoy your time at home. Will you be baking today? Tui, I hope that you get some rain to help with the watering today.

    Morning Hazel and Tui.

Hazel, have a nice time at GC. I also never managed to grow orchids. Don't know why, but they always dies under my surveillance.

LB, I love those purple oxalis. I have plain ones with green leaves. Didn't have in plan to bake but now when you mentioned it🤔. It's proper weather for some comfort food.

    Morning everyone
I've got that plant LB. I grow it as a house plant too, it in the conservatory. I love the delicate flowers.
Hazel is your orchid an indoor one.......you'll need orchid bark rather than compost if it is. And the pot should be see through and not too big, just a size or two from the one it's in. Your can get orchid feed for them.
Wish I could get to the garden centre, would love to get a few plants, although I'm not ready to be amongst people yet.
Sun is shining, but it's still pretty cool. Wish summer would return......but not as schorchio as the other week.
Have a good day everyone, take care.

@Ladybird4 and @Songbird-1 I water my garden with a hosepipe that is very long so I can reach most places.  The sun is warming now but still this horrible wind.  The weather forecast predicts a messy stormy day on Friday.  Sigh!

Hazel good luck with the Orchid I’ve never mastered the care of those, I’m sure yours is in good hands,
Rubee hope you’ve had a good day,

Hazel I think Terrestrial orchids go outside in the ground and Epiphytic are indoor ones.
Been very quiet on here today, must all be busy in the garden.
We went for another stroll around the pond thus morning, very quiet.
Had a relaxing afternoon in the garden flicking through old magazines.
Hope everyone has had a good day.

Oh goodness Hazel just seen you feel poorly, hope you feel better soon

Hello everyone. Well Ante, did you get to make any comfort food today? Hope you got the watering done Tui. Afties Chey, good to hear that the plants are looking well. Your Bestie must have taken care of them whilst you were in hospital. Hazel, what is the name of your orchid? The most common ones are the moth orchids or phalaenopsis. These are fairly bomb proof. I've had mine for over 10 years. Do not use tap water to water them, collect rainwater and keep it inside so that it is always at the house's ambient temperature. You can also mist them frequently with rain water. I have 3 phalaenopsis in my bathroom and one dendrobium. They like the steamy atmosphere. Don't keep them in hot sun - just bright light.
PHALAENOPSIS Orchid 2 stems Potted plant - IKEAThese are phalaenopsis.
Buy white orchid Dendrobium Spring Dream gx Apollon PBRThese are dendrobium - they come in other colours too.
