I didn't bleat about it being too hot and our sun has gone too.

The garden was very dry, I noticed when cutting back perennials this morning. The recent shower wasn't enough. I've watered it all. I expect this wind is drying.

    Afternoon all.Ā

I still had a draft from last night on the page - must have been distracted! My body clock has gone to pot this week: early starts, weekend naps, meal times out of sync... I think I must be a Night Owl by default and so I am constantly fighting with this. I wish I was more of an early bird, particularly in Summer.Ā

    Hope you are all well.Ā

No moaning about heat here either but I have been gladĀ  of the rain even tho the weeds respond faster than treasures.

Just been back to the vet with Rasta who had licked off the stitches and the silver stuff from the two wounds on her front legs and who had managed to pop the stitches and open a hole on the wound on her shoulder - benign cyst removals.Ā  Two options.Ā  Anaesthetic, recut, clean out, re-stitch or use a special acid bath to remove dead skin and promote slow natural healing.Ā  Ā She's 13 so the latter.Ā  Ā

Thing is, she doesn't know she's 13 and runs about like a puppy when she's having her daily mad half hour and the rest of the time she's in and out of all sorts of corners of the garden looking for trouble.Ā  We have a collar now which will put paid to the peering in corners and under shrubbery and wild bits.

Had to pay for all of this by cheque cos, just as I was leaving, I gt some dodgy text messages about my bank account so my card's been blocked.Ā  Ā Wonderful.

I shall go and plant some beetroot!

Not a very productive day today, weather has been grey and chilly. Have felt lethargic all day. Sun is forecast for tomorrow. I think I am like the flowers that open up in the sun and close when It's cloudy! Night all.

It was bearable outside this afternoon, so I grabbed the secateurs and continued my war on my Thyme border. I’ve almost filled the trailer so far. There’s still lots to do. For all that it’s a bit rough on my back and wrist, I’m feeling very pleased with my progress. 😃 Ā

    Best wishes to all.Ā
