    Morning all.
    Another glorious day.
Virtually all weeding done, over 70 pots of alliums set into place to be planted this morning and I'm hoping to get some hostas from tunnel planted out.
    Hugs to those struggling.

Morning all/afties Pat. A second sleep? Lazy mare  :D
Not remotely jealous of your hot sun....14 with no wind is perfect for me  ;)
A bright day here, and the wind has dropped so that should make a difference today. I will need to face the great unwashed later when I take fairylet to work. Hope she can get her prescription, otherwise it's another trip for her tomorrow as the chemist won't be open when she finishes.
Focus on the wee victories @D0rdogne_Damsel. It's the only way forward. Think how far you've come in just a very short time and tell yourself every day how brave you were   :)
Peg-leg Pete was sitting on the roof waiting for his breakfast. I'm going to need more rent from him at this rate. The goldies were on the feeders too. I don't think they like it when the feeders aren't full up. Once they get down to an inch or two, they seem to stay away. Fussy brats.

Our goldies are the same .... full banquet setting required 🙄
But our little pair of dunnocks are so happy with whatever we give them ... the male has some sunflower seeds and then sings his thanks from the rosa glauca by the window ... and yesterday I saw the female pop out of a small dark shadowy space in the thickest bit of Clem. Freckles ... could something be going on in there I wonder?  I’ll keep an eye on that spot from the safe distance of the sofa ...

    Morning all
Sat outside in sun with second coffee watching a coaltit pull apart one off the fluffy stay cats dreadlocks. Think soft furnishings are on the agenda!
Beautiful day, trying not to worry and appreciate the benefits during this time such as having time, peace and quiet, the air is fresher with less traffic.  I'm as worried as everyone else but cant afford for my anxiety to get the better of me. Although I have no income currently, I'm more fortunate than the polite chap that asked me for some change in a sm car park.  No home soaking wet blanket, there is always somebody worse off. Very grateful for every little thing I have right now! In particular my health, loved ones and garden.... the rest will all pull itself together in time! Stay safe everybody x

Touch of frost this morning, but its going to be a beautiful day.  Have a couple of hours weeding planned, then Pilates in the garden, then a bit of HW, then some sewing, then our evening walk.....that should keep me away from the news 👍🏻  Only 3 more days til littlest chicklet’s quarantine ends - she can come home on Friday and have that long awaited hug 🤗

We’ve been playing online scrabble most evenings - almost feels like she’s in the room 😜

    That'll be worth waiting for @chicky :)
Fingers crossed for the goldies @Dovefromabove. Fussy little tykes eh?
You're right @WonkyWomble. Did you see the dreadful footage recently from America [what a surprise] where homeless people were being herded into a car park? There were 'lines' marked out, not even a decent distance apart, and they were expected to set up camp there. No cover. Zilch. Nada. They should all be ashamed of themselves.
Perhaps their 'great leader' could have put them up in one of his gilded  hotels, but then, he thinks it's all fine and dandy....
I don't know if anyone else thought the same as me re Boris. When I saw footage of him clapping, I thought he looked terrible. I know we're used to the cultivated dishevelled look, and this was clearly 'normal' dishevelled, but I wasn't surprised that he ended up in hospital.

That sounds like a full day Chicky! I've had the sewing  machine out a couple of evenings and have taken up embroidery again! Not long until chicklet can be with you in person again. Well done for sticking to the rules. Not easy when you have been so worried and a hug would mean the world but you've been very sensible! It will all be worth it soon!

Yes Fairy your right. This is why the news gets one airing per day.  Really seeing the best and worst in folks!
One of my new favorite things to cheer me is watching my elderly gardening customers that I do shopping for.  They play whats in the bag Behind the conservatory door. I made an 80 year old man yell yippee yesterday as I'd got his shortbread and chocolate and a bag of seed potatoes for his veg bed!  :D

Thought exactly the same @fairygirl .....was shouting at the telly “go back to bed you fool”.  It can’t help your body to fight this thing if you insist on carrying on regardless.  No job is worth that.  Although it is something I saw time and time again in our office with just normal colds and flu - people being heroes/martyrs when they should be at home in bed, where they are not infecting others.  Strange mindset
