    Morning all/afties Pat
    Happy Birthday @WonkyWomble! 21 again eh?  ;)
I presume lots of cake will be consumed. I even have some of that chocolate left if you want a bit.
I hope it's more than rain that falls on those clowns - 6 feet of snow might stop them.
In our news up here yesterday, there was report from police about the people they've stopped and fined. [and why has that fine not got another zero on it?] Among them, three guys in a van, who stated they had no intention of following the guidelines. What can you do about scum like that?  >:)
Yet - last weekend, there was a story of a chap not far from here who runs a garage. It's near the hospital there, so he's living on the premises, away from his wife and small daughter, to keep the cars going for medical staff, who are among his biggest customers. He deserves a medal.
Wee battles won @D0rdogne_Damsel - including doing the names  ;)
It would be easy to become overwhelmed @Dovefromabove. The lunacy of the tango man is enough to send me screaming... :#

Happy Birthday @WonkyWomble - hope you have a special day.

I enjoyed GW last night - will never have my own walled garden, but enjoy watching others, and cordons can be planted anywhere.  And I admire the way they are cobbling it together - its either that or no programme at all.  And I know which I would rather.

Going to spend the weekend putting up a fence.  Luckily all the materials were ordered and delivered in January.  Were waiting for the top to go on the greenhouse, but thats not going to happen for a while now, so we need to get that area of the garden deer proof again.  They are starting to nibble at my fruit trees. 🦌

I'm sorry @Nanny Beach but I don't begrudge Adam Frost a single square inch of his garden ... he doesn't come from money ... he worked hard ever since he was a kid and earned every penny it took to buy that house and garden. He started off working for Devon Parks Dept.

    Wiki ... Adam Frost
(born September 1969)[1] is a British garden designer known for his successes at the Chelsea Flower Show and as a presenter on the BBC's Gardeners' World.[2]

He started his career working for North Devon Parks Department and then he moved to London, to work as a landscaper. His big break came when he worked with Geoff Hamilton at Geoff's garden in Barnsdale.[3]

In 2013, he was instrumental in setting up the Homebase Garden Academy [4] and in 2014 became an RHS Ambassador. He is also an author and his book Real Gardens tells the journey of his award-winning Chelsea gardens.[5] He has won seven Gold Medals at the Chelsea Flower Show.[6]

Frost discussed his life and career on BBC Radio 4's Saturday Live in April 2019.[7]

It's a shame if we start resenting everyone who has achieved something beautiful and worthwhile.  :(

@AuntyRach- are you going to spend your week off catching up on the vino? :D
Enjoy your gardening today @GWRS. Is it a special channel you watch the musicals on?

I'm hoping it'll be warmer today than it's been. At least it's looking to be dry, so I may get some more seeds sown that have just arrived.

Morning all,  Totally agree @Dovefromabove I like Adam Frost.  You don't need a huge walled garden to grow cordoned fruit and he said you needed to put holes in if you used a plastic lining rather than a sack lining.  This lock down might encourage quite a few new gardeners to appreciate what a great hobby it is.  I know it's keeping me sane at the moment.  I have the Geoff Hamilton programmes on dvd.  Have never got round to watching them but I might dig them out and give them a go.

It's grey here but hopefully it will brighten up later and  I'll be able to get out there, although I have a load of seedlings to pot up and I can do that in the conservatory.
Hope everyone has a good gardening weekend.
