    Good morning all.
Another lovely day out there. Grass all cut and collected yesterday so hopefully I'm on top of that one for a change.

  • Good morning  :)

    Happy Birthday to @WonkyWomble :)

Lovely morning again here. I am very happy to have managed to order some little plug plants of vegetables from a local nursery. They put a message on FB with a list of things available and you just message them with your request, give your details and they will take payment by credit card, give you a drive thru time, you go and they will put it into the boot of your car. Charlie is very happy. B)  I normally get all my summer bedding from there, they showed a picture of their greenhouses full of plants, I am so glad we can help a bit. I don't know if they will be allowed to sell the flowers if we are still confined nearer the time....

Keeping busy is the secret for me, even if it takes me 3 times as long to do a thing. I got myself in a state yesterday reading the news again but then went off and measured the garden for the gravel - which is ever so big, so then I started trying to think of other (cheaper) options, still mulling them over. at least it's keeping my mind occupied.
    Virtual hugs to everyone.   <3

    Yay!  Well done @D0rdogne_Damsel 👏 😊
    have a ☕️
Im limiting our news exposure  ... R4 in the morning. BBC tv news at 6 if we feel like it ... and that’s it unless there’s anything else of special interest happening ... and I try to stay clear of online news sites. I started it after the referendum and have continued ... it is saving my sanity 😊

Nice to get some plug plants ... we had some lettuce plugs arrive the other day and they’re planted and under a cloche. Seed sowing starts here today ... tomatoes, parsley, beetroot, French beans .... etc

Morning all and thank you! May it be a happy day for us all! Happy birthday to your grandson  Pat.
My gift is good weather for all! - Those that stay in their homes and gardens that is.... may a huge rain cloud burst over anyone that leaves their homes unnecessarily!!!

I sat outside pricking put seedlings yesterday. More of that sort of thing today.  The stray cat that lives in the shed decided to sing to my cats on the windowsill all night. She didn't want to come in, she wanted them to come out, she's desperate to make friends bless her! She's a very fluffy tabby cat, very timid but learning trust slowly after six months of living in the shed and regular meals.  I'll have to try and resize my pictures. Anyway, coffee time! It's going to be a glorious weekend!  B)

    Oh ‘eck @WonkyWomble ... I bet she’s in season ... a couple of months and you’ll have a shed full 🤯

A very happy Birthday to Wonky XXX and good morning to the rest of you.  Anyone dissapointed with last night GW, or was it me, seemed to have been merely cobbled together. Yes, very naice to have a walled garden, if you have the money, the space, and oh, yeah, the wall!!  Growing rocket, "oh, heres a container left over from Christmas", left over!!! Could have save it for this one.  Lovely wood tub to grow the carrots, "dont foget to make drainage holes", what in porus sacking!!I was however, yes, enjoying the 2 cats!!!
