Why did I decide to go and paint on a grey day with flat light? It meant I could see the 3 blue walls already done needed another coat. That means waiting another day or two to do the dark, peacock blue wall. Humph! Better go and do an undercoat on the headboard then.
I saw that dalek on FB @Fairygirl and have also given the Belgians in my old home area a recipe for Irish soda bread as it seems they can't get yeast in the SMs tho they could always try their local baker. Useful chaps and chapesses. There was one who sold ready-made puff pastry by the metre for when you were doing canapés for a party - one of the reasons I've never cracked home-made pastry.
@AuntyRach I would squish with my fingers and leave them to the good guys to come and eat. The ladybirds and lacewings and hoverflies will be out soon and hungry and then the blue tits will need aphids for their bairns.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Yeh - a wipe with your hand for greenfly, until the birds get to grips with them. I got quite a bit done today - all faffy little jobs, but I sat and watched Peg-leg Pete stuff his fat face while I had a cuppa. I'm quite fond of him, even if he does sh*t all over my car He's getting used to me being in the garden with him. My sister sent me a video which is very funny, but I'll need to get fairylet to show me how to get it on here. Going to shops tomorrow as fairylet needs to pick up medication, so if there are queues I might be able to collect it for her and then get some stuff.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
