Morning everyone. Sunny but cool here again. It’s very quiet - no traffic or pedestrians on the road. Not that I mind. 😁
best wishes to everyone with worries.

Morning @Pat E, and any U.K. early birds.
Up early today as it’s shopping for in-laws and us. I go to the NHS hour as there is usually no queuing.
We’ve had more rain overnight so the plants will be grateful.

Good morning all  :) ☕️  It’s a cool grey morning ...  I think we’ve had a little rain overnight ... not much ... just enough to lay the dust ...
Hope the shopping goes ok @AuntyRach 👍

  • Good morning 🙂
We've had rain too, and quite a spectacular thunder storm last night but beautiful again today.

Off to CdeG to put the sunshade up on the pergola and check if the rain has messed up my lovely clean terrace 🙄

Just watched a lovely video of tulips at Arundel Castle - I think I might plan a spring break there at some point in the future, I've always wanted to go and now after seeing the tulips am even more keen. Either that or emulate 🤣

Have a good day all, 🙂

    Morning all.
Daughter took Grandson to hospital yesterday for routine weight check. They're concerned he's not putting on weight so they've both been in hospital overnight. No real idea what's going on.
    Beside myself with worry.

Oh dear, @Hostafan1, I hope he's OK, but he's very young and babies usually lose weight at first. Is he taking his milk?

Afraid I had an awful night. Looked in here but wasn't chatty.

@Busy-Lizzie, just had a message, they've been weighing his used nappies, and seem happy. He's pretty much feeding all the time. There's talk of adding some formula to the mix.
Waiting for them to be seen by the Doc.

    Sorry about your horses.

Morning all/afties Pat. Glad you've had a nice day.
Just caught up here. Sad times for many of you. Hope you can all stay positive. Some fairy dust wending it's way to you all.
@Hostafan1 - @Busy-Lizzie is right. It's very normal for babies to lose weight in the first few weeks. My oldest was permanently 'clamped' initially, for reasons I won't go into here, but some babies are just hungrier too.
Hope you have a steadier week at work @AuntyRach. Lovely to have a 'success' with your ill patient. I think it's important that we hear these good outcomes. I've noticed they're reporting more of them on the news too. While we all still need to be very vigilant, it lets people know it's not always doom and gloom. Very important.

Not sure what I'll do today. My hands are very sore, so it'll be gentler stuff. No construction work or hanging off the shed roof painting the battens....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
