Been trying to distract myself today.  Have been watching films and then took down and washed all the crockery on my kitchen dresser.
Had to contact the company who delivered our new cooker as the left hand side of the grill isn't working.  Offered to wait until after the lockdown to get it sorted but they are coming on Thursday.
It's raining here at the moment so I've only watered seedlings in the conservatory and will need to pop out at some point and check if the greenhouse plants need watering.
Secondborn and family are calling later and we'll play cards/do quiz over the internet.

That's good service from the cooker company Yvie. Family quiz night sounds fun...... but not with my family!!!
I've been pricking out veg seedlings today.  Been very stressed and worried today also so I'm torn between calamity Jane or Anne of green gables.... my go to chicken soup for the soul TV! Have a good evening everyone.  :)

    Evening all. 🙂

@Yviestevie & @Busy-Lizzie so sorry to hear your worries and sad news. 😥
@Allotment Boy, hey ho, but there is a certain amount of satisfaction in crushing the little blighters yourself! 2 today!

Lots of gardening done, veggie patch for Charlie nearly finished, we were digging for hours yesterday. Seeds nearly all up: Charlie very proud of his babies.

He's now planned his veggie patch putting his maths homework of calculating area to good use.

Spent today at CdeG again waiting for parcel, thankfully this time it arrived. Whilst waiting I emptied terrace of tables and on hands and knees weeded in-between all the flagstones. Tomorrow going to try and get the sunshades up.

Ever onwards! Goodnight all, if I can't sleep I might do one of the jigsaws. 😋

  • P.S. @Hostafan1, discovered 3 hostas today that are still going strong despite being badly neglected in the 4 years I've been gone. Nature is wonderful isn't it! 😁

Evening folks. Sorry to hear of your hard times @Busy-Lizzie and @Yviestevie.

Ready for my pizza after a long shift. Was actually an ok shift. A patient managed a whole day off the ventilator and will be promoted to the ‘recovery’ ward now 👍🏼🎉

Take care folks - enjoy the rest of the evening x
