I'm looking for a pale pink climbing rose to suit this wall, I would like one with a long flowering season, open flower, bee friendly.........and scented, am I asking for too much?  Thanks..,......

The Generous Gardeners fits I think!

It has taken the three years to put on the growth to become this @Omori Like most roses it was a bit weedy to start, but it has a nice upright habit, not bushy, after this first flush will flower again late summer, and has yet to suffer much from black spot. Its likes its spot much better than the Arthur Bell it replaced, and smells of turkish delight.

@Mary370 I second Mr Vine Eye’s suggestion. The Generous gardener is probably my favourite David Austin climber, amazing scent too!

Like everyone, I have some wind damage here. Nothing too serious, some flopped plants, broken branches, burnt foliage.
    And The Prince got decapitated.
  • Yes @Nollie I might end up moving it to back garden or putting it in a pot so I can shelter it when windy!
