    Can anyone advise what is the "go to" website for obelisks. I've just bought one from a well known high street chain, and after unpacking it, it went straight back in it's box; first whiff of a wind it would have crumbled....mind you it was very very cheap.

    I’ve ordered from ukgardensupplies and I’ve been very pleased with them.

    @peteS,  Gap Garden Products - good value, sturdy, you see many of them on here, I have three traditional garden obelisks in antique black and they are excellent.

    @Pianoplayer good to know that it is growing well for you.  I like the fact too that it's more open so easy for the bees to get to.

    I'll let you know how I get on with Vienetta.  I also have Taiga which is very similar.  Very pretty flowers but the slugs seem to love the petals.

    Ive been waiting for this rose to open as I wasnt sure if it was my Mountbatten or not as the label had ended up in another part of the flower bed!

    It is and looking ok considering I moved it last year at completely the wrong time. The ants seem happy too.

    I'm looking forward to it fully opening as it is such a vibrant yellow.

    @Marlorena....I can see why.

    I've just looked at Tottering by Gently....looks really pretty.  How big are the flowers?  It's hard to tell looking at photos online.
