    This thread has a lot to answer for! After looking through the photos posted (and getting advice on here as to which 'kind' of rose to buy) i have ordered another four roses,the first one i got having been planted at my allotment.I shall have to stop looking as i'm not sure where i'll put them all! :D

    I've ordered 3 from T&M-Golden Showers,Ramanas Rose and scented double white,they were on an offer so i thought why not.Another is from TW ,Moonlight. Not sure if they're a good choice but i liked the look of them so i'm happy.Be happier when they arrive! :)

    @Tack
    ...these.. I've not grown any of them before..

    Wild Blue Yonder [Weeks - shrub]
    New Zealand [HT]... both highly scented roses..

    R. damascena Quatre Saisons [Autumn Damask]
    Souvenir de Docteur O'Donnell Brown [HT]
    Tahiti [HT]
    Marie Van Houtte [Tea]

    ...what do you think of Carmen Wurth?... the foliage is exemplary, but I find some blooms discolour..

    I like the look of Moonlight. I think I've seen Golden Showers on here but the others are new to me at least. Next year is really going to be a treat on the rose thread as everyone's orders are so varied and interesting. I hope everyone shares pictures.

    @Tack I'll have to master the art of reducing my photos as the ones i've tried to post on other threads say they're too big  :/

    @Mr. Vine Eye
    ..yeah, Austins are quick to put down their own roots usually...  as you have 5 canes on that rose, I would probably have cut off that one...  I like own root roses..

    @Marlorena No surprise that I don't recognise yours! I like the look of Wild Blue Yonder. New Zealand with average 6inch blooms, wow. Your french ones I need to spend more time finding info, not too common here then.
    I bought Carmen late in the season from Kordes as a 2lt PlantOFix , it has given me one perfect bloom so no verdict on that yet though the foliage is great yes. I won't bother with PlantOFix again, hardly cheaper and a plant for the following season I reckon. Maybe it will have some advantage over a bareroot but potted were available just a couple of Euro more.
