That's a grand list of roses @edhelka, I saved it til this morning so I could look them all up. I like Mrs Herbert Stevens but I've been keeping out of the climbing sections of the websites and catalogues as I have no room and don't want to be tempted. I was also ogling Plaisanterie but only have 1 big space left and needed a darker colour really to go with the other plants. Look forward to seeing them all next year!
@poppyfield64 I had Dioressence on a list last year but didn't end up buying. I think I saw it on Style's website. I'd love know how it gets on for you. It looks to be a great colour.
@Omori...I have indeed got GH, but everywhere I've put it so far (moved it twice), it's always ended up being swamped by other plants and not really produced; but I'm potting it up this Autumn, so next year I might get a sniff of myrrh...but if @iaincd is correct about Constance Spry, I would've already smelt it, because many years ago I grew CS but couldn't put up with the defoliating black spot, but I remember the smell...delicious.
Snow Ballet - ground cover - I want to try this in a hanging basket or a tiered planter with other plants, as a summer display.
@edhelka I'd never thought of putting a rose in a hanging basket. Thank you for the idea. I have a ground cover planted a couple of months ago that I was going to dig up today but I'll try it in a basket ..... nothing lost.
Hi @Tack glad yours are doing well, I have just been unlucky/probably foolish to order potted roses at the tail end of their season. I can’t really judge Heidi Klum as it is firmly between flushes, Rose de Rescht seems ok, so far.
I just wish I knew what was wrong with Chateau de C - if it’s something it will just grow out of that’s fine. I will post photos to Agel-Rosen and ask, they are going to think I am one difficult customer!!
I had in mind to get Guy Savoy as well, another Delbard, but am holding fire on that one just now. Here is my list organised by areas they are destined for and mostly from TCL. I have SO over-ordered for the East Garden, it will be trial by pot to see which half a dozen make it to a permanent spot!
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
Some really lovely roses being ordered. It will be nice to see how they all do next season.
@Victoria Sponge I will update on how Dioressence does. It was the colour that drew me in.
This is one that Marlorena kindly recommended as a climber for next to my front door. First bloom of Dixieland Linda. Very pretty and has a lovely fragrance too.
Ivor's rose @Nollie this was a recent buy from the GC. Flowers are on the small side and although it's described as cherry red on the label it's definitely a bit fuschia! Could be the heat. Nice sweet smell on the flowers and the leabes look like thatathat of rambler!
@poppyfield64 ..I'm so pleased you are happy with your new rose, it's a beauty isn't it..... and incidentally those two you have are very closely related... so that's a bonus..

And Charles Austin is looking good so far.
