Does anyone have one of these jobs?

I have an extra Etoile de Hollande that DA sent me as a replacement for a poor one. I was thinking to grow it up this half arch and across the side of the house. Not sure if that’s a good or bad idea 🤔

@Tack, unfortunately, the Showa gloves are not thornproof, they're everyday ones, being stretchy with nitrile palms and fingers.

@Omari, I think that arch should work with EduH, it's quite vigorous and can get to 20 ft I believe (although mine's nowhere near that).

... oh I love that half arch, I've been thinking where I could fit one in... I was saying to Katsa I had one years ago, just like that one affixed to house wall... I grew Clematis flammula up it, lovely it was too.. I also grew Etoile de Hollande up and across a similar shaped but wooden structure.. however, these days I would use a rose that cascades somewhat, which EdeH doesn't really do, being rather messy as is typical of climbing hybrid tea roses..
..but maybe that's being fussy... best of luck with it, I'm sure it will look nice in your capable hands..

@poppyfield64 With all those buds there, I think I will post it a lot in the next two weeks ;)
The biggest enabler of this rose is HonzaPM on helpmefind, I recommend checking his photos if you haven't yet, he just posted this one yesterday.
I think it would be a showstopper grown in a group of three but when in full bloom, it has a good impact as only one plant because the colour is so strong and unique.
It's disease resistant and vigorous. Very upright growth habit but not stiff looking.
The fragrance is mostly myrrh with a floral note (violets?), sometimes it is there, sometimes not so much. It's not for everyone. That would be the downside if you don't like myrrh fragrances.
EDIT: I don't know why the links to hmf photos don't work anymore... they used to work. Anyway, here is a link to the rose listing.
@Omori I like these (have them bookmarked as one of the options for my newest project) but I don't like the price. I think I will modify normal full arches to achieve what I want.

@Marlorena Good thinking, I'll do some proper research instead of just using what I have. On further thinking, most important to me is health, cleanly dropping, and floriferous/repeating. Scent is not so important as it would be very on show, so healthy foliage is more a priority. Any colour or bloom form is fine to me. Any suggestions very much appreciated.

@edhelka I'm not too keen on the price either, it is certainly an investment. It looks to be very sturdy and well made though.
