Thanks Marlorena, I think it’s worth trying...it seems more like it’s plodding along rather than thriving in its current spot. It’s quite small still so at least moving it won’t be a huge issue.
Octavia Hill looks a good bloomer @Marlorena, nice and compact for the front of a border too.
@Omori it does seem very strange that a much lauded rose like LEH is being discontinued. Munstead Wood, the other goner, does change colour a lot for me, but still looks good whatever the weather and I’m so pleased with how floriferous it has been this year. Here’s a MW comparison:
Today, suddenly very hot:
Cooler, 13th June:
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
I hope they will introduce something new from the dark purple line (derived from Chianti?). The Prince, Prospero, WS 2000... all beautiful roses, even though with some issues, still beautiful. Munstead Wood was introduced in 2007 and there hasn't been anything like it since. Maybe they focus more on yellow/orange/apricot lines these days? I've read somewhere that warmer and stronger colours sell better but that is in the US (according to Weeks), I am not sure if it's true here.
We need a Gabriel Oak (more upright blooms, better form, it seems) with a Munstead Wood colour! Here’s another comparison, LEH, which demonstrates it’s heat sensitivity in my climate. I don’t know whether orange roses are more susceptible to this or not, so will be interested to see how my next lot (Alexander, Super Trouper Salita) do.

I realised today (pursuing my rose catalogues as it is raining again) that neither LEH nor MW are in the 2020 DA catalogue, including the fold-out picture index in the back which includes some 'online-only'. I suppose that was a sign of the planning.
Reading edhelka's thoughts above it would be interesting to be a fly on the wall in a DA marketing meeting, know the data/thoughts behind it etc.
Just have been watching GW as my Saturday night treat and there is Monty planting up a rose in a pot. He casually mentions that you should always plant the rose with the graft below the soil line. My mum had told me to ensure it’s just above the soil line because of potential dieback. I just planted a rose following her advise. Do I go and replanted following Monty’s? Help!

Excitement today as Absolutely Fabulous/Julia Child arrived from Peter Beales in the post!
Seems a lovely, healthy plant so fingers crossed she'll be happy...
