...they do look suspicious ..  I would still give it a go but perhaps I wouldn't spend a huge amount of money on something, or anything precious, for that area...

You have some lovely plants, and of course your roses are very familiar... nice to see them all doing so well...   I don't think you need try too hard with Lady of Shalott, she will criss cross of her own accord...
..I meant to say earlier re Royal Jubilee... as I may not be on the forum so much next year, I shall just say ''you ain't seen nothin' yet''..   lol... you'll remember that I hope..

Can anyone help? I planted a climbing iceberg in my parents' garden and it bloomed marvellously early on but there haven't been Amy more blooms for ages. It's put on a lot of green growth though.

I'm confused because it's described as a repeat flowerer? 🤔

Fresh flowering buds will come with the new growth most likely. Repeat flowering roses tend to have a flush of flowers, then a break and then another flush and so on.

If it’s one that’s just been planted this year it’ll flower more as it becomes more established in subsequent years.

I’ve a couple of roses that have had flowers continuously but those are in their second year.

@Omori and @edhelka - I modified a full arch to create the two half arches. No idea how long they'll last but I could probably retro-fit something if they don't work.

Thank you @Mr. Vine Eye. I had a little panic that it wasn't iceberg I'd planted but that's reassured me. Its
gone from ground level to 3.5ft this season. It's on an 8ft obelisk. I hope it'll be alright on that!

I've finally dug up the 2nd and last of my disease magnet HT's, but what I did notice was that the roots weren't showing any signs of breaking out of their original container shape, even after being in the ground for the last two months. Is this normal, or, for future reference, should I have loosened the roots a bit before planting it out, but it didn't appear to be particularly pot bound.
