Too late if she's already sprouted wings but they might be useful with the price of petrol and all.
    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • We are getting our jabs this afternoon,  hope we don't get reactions as some are reporting, we'll see.

  • Bear in mind the "reactions" are your immune system kicking in, not a dodgy side effect. Just popping to our local pharmacy collected forms for the flu jabs. Got an SMS from the dentist saying I'm due a check up. Got the Covid jab Saturday AND the dogs annual jabs are due, whew!

We both had our Spikevax / Modena covid jabs las week, and apart from slightly tender if touched, no other symptoms. First ever jab left me awake in the night shaking with teeth chattering, so this was almost completely side effect free by comparison. Hope everyone else is so fortunate.

Well of course that's as it should be, if I  had no reaction at all I would be concerned I was not making a response. However I  have read of people with tingling, metallic tastes   and severe tiredness,  knocking them out for days at a time,  high fever and other  symptoms.  As I  said we will see.

The thing is, people who have had no reaction are unlikely to mention it so the statistics become a bit skewed

  • B3,you are correct of course, apart from they are usually smug and boasting about it! The first one I had AZ,9 am,was absolutely fine all day,11pm, rigors, freezing, duvet, hot water bottle, then every fluey symptom known to man, overall a week before I felt right. The covidence study said I was either a super fit 20 something or had had Covid and already antibodies.

Had my Spikevax today. Sore arm tonight and really hoping I don’t have the shivers and feeling grim like the last 3 times.
My garden and I live in South Wales.
