I would think if you qualify for the flu jab you should be given the COVID one too, @Crazybeelady .

Too many eligible people are not having their vaccines.
    Maybe they don't want one...?

Why would you not want a vaccine for something that could make you very ill, or even kill you?
Measles vaccination rates have dropped bellow the number required for population immunity. I have seen deaths from measles encephalitis in the UK.
    What is wrong with people?

I wonder how many of the people turning down boosters, will be the ones moaning when their operations get cancelled, because all the beds are full of COVID patients, or the staff are off sick.

My thoughts on the matter is that people are becoming more relaxed about covid and therefore perhaps thinking they don't need a booster. Just my thought and no one else's. Plus might people have heard a more about after effects of the vaccination and don't want to risk getting them? Again my thoughts off the top of my head having heard people talk about it?

I don’t personally know many people who will have this vaccine. Most younger people seem very unconcerned I think they feel there are bigger issues. Also so many of them have caught covid after being vaccinated they have probably lost confidence in it.

We had our booster nearly 3 weeks ago . The queue outside the Pharmacy was just as long as last time (over an hour).  Mind you according to the Zoe app the numbers  of cases are through the roof again.  (29, 000 + a day).
Edit,  that number is just our borough in London.

There seems to be a lot of variation. I don't know anyone who's said they won't have it, and younger people are quite annoyed that they aren't being offered one this time.
