Years ago, just after Possum was born, a doctor friend advised me to give her a dose of Calpol (infant paracetamol) before any of her baby jabs as it would reduce any discomfort. She also advised a paracetamol for us before going for flu jabs and so on.
It works a treat and I've done it for every flu jab since and all 4 Covid jabs. I still get a bit of tenderness in the affected arm but no other symptoms. Our next Covid jabs are due at the end of December unless the French govt changes things and brings them forward for older folk. Flu jabs start in October.
Stands to reason there's a higher rate of infections in more densely populated areas. Round here the population quadruples over the summer hols and does double that on places like Ile d'Yeu, Noirmoutier and Ile de Ré. They bring their bugs with them. Now they've gone home but infection rates are up so you could extrapolate that it's population not pollution that counts. Clearly in towns and cities there is higher pollution as a result of people density so the two go together..

It said it's known of course, that pollution causes lung damage. I asked about taking analgesia before the Covid jabs, the nurse doing them said it wouldn't make a haypeth of difference. You can watch the webinar on YouTube, I think, I didn't think it's just study participants. Course it doesn't explain why some people are asymptomatic.
Hubby had his Covid jab yesterday,a double dose Moderna they said. Head ache last night,up since the weeny hours feeling rough and having a duvet day on the sofa.
I haven't heard of Spikevax either, sounds rather strange to me. Hope all poorly people feel better soon. We were told by our doctor not to have covid and fly vaccines together.
