@pansyface, can you not book your booster online at all?
It worked for me a couple of days ago, just followed the instructions for the over 75's and ignored the ones for immune-supressed people which is the button you would use. Our local jab centre is only a mile or so away which is very convenient for us.

Not sure whether to cancel my appointment though as I've got exactly the same symptoms as OH who tested positive but my LFT this morning was still negative. I'm also confused!

@pansyface - that's heart breaking reading your comments. I'm so sorry about the dreadful situation you're in and, more importantly, how it's making you feel.

Your comments re the doctors in that practice are also very telling, and it suggests there's real problems with the whole set up, but it's impacting on your health and state of mind, and that isn't acceptable at all. I hope you can get some sort of solution - and quickly. x

@pansyface, please don't give up on this . I agree completely with comments from @Fairygirl, this is an unacceptable situation.

Just looking at nhs site,  they say to wait for invitation,  They are trying to leave them so there’s 6 months apart from the 3rd.
You can go to a walk in centre and take a prescription/box/pot of pills to show what your health problem is,  if you’re over 75 they’ll  just do it.

@pansyface    That is a very sad paragraph.  It's unbelievable that you cannot do something about it for fear or being struck off.  @punkdoc has a good suggestion.  I am sure you could ask to be anonymous.

You're better off without them @pansyface. Bloody sod them, as you say.
I bet you feel closer to many folk on this forum.

I've always said that, just because someone's family , it doesn't mean you have to like them.

@Lyn, you can now have your 4th booster after 3 months from the last one. They've amended the guidelines because of the increase in infections but the NHS website doesn't seem to have been amended yet so I just ignored it.

Just out of interest @Punkdoc, assuming I have got Covid, although testing negative, would anything nasty happen if I still went for my 4th booster next Monday?

Were you actually told that @Pansyface or is just an assumption?

There's 14 years between my eldest brother and younger sister.  As he virtually left home when she was a toddler, they don't have that much in common as they don't have that shared experience. That could be the same in your case?

You can have the 4th after 3 months but for better effect it best to leave it nearer to the 6 months.

How sad @pansyface. I can understand age gaps causing difficulty, but even so, you'd think he could make a bit of an effort.
Age gaps usually become far less of a problem as you get older anyway.
