    I'm glad I'm single.... :D

Re Covid - the number of hospital admissions has gone up quite markedly here. The medical bloke [Mr Leitch] is quite concerned because of the restrictions being removed in 10 days or so.
None of us will be changing our habits anyway.

@Fairygirl heard that on our news last night.

I feel a huge wave of complacency already round here. No one keeping a distance, and too many folk not wearing masks, even though they've never been anything but mandatory here   :/

Don't come to the US.  Covid has been 'over' for a year and a half now.

Haven't worn any make-up except for mascara when I've had to go out since the masks went on 2 years ago.  Not sure I'll bother changing that except for lip salve.

Just glanced at our village school weekly newsletter. Five staff members already off with Covid, and the headmistress has just come down with it. Not over yet by a long chalk.

First day of no masks today and everyone at patch/needlework was very happy not to wear one.  However, at mosaic this evening, all except one wore their mask because one woman's husband is du an operation in the next week or so and she didn't want to take any risks.   Seems fair enough to me.

We still have to wear them in medical buildings and on public transport.   It'll be interesting to see what's happening in shops later this week.
