    With age comes wisdom. Sometimes.

“When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years.”  Mark Twain.

I love the Mark Twain sayings. I like the "If you don't like the weather in England, wait 10 minutes"

Absolutely @punkdoc - anyone looking to Clapton or some tw*t on Spotify for their medical info deserves all they get. The problem is that they tie up vital resources in hospitals etc.
In the same way that if I want information about plants, I'd come here, or watch a gardening programme or get info from the RHS etc. I wouldn't ask the doctor.

However, it's not quite the same scenario as people making a stand against stupidity and misinformation re Covid, which is what Neil and Joni are doing. It also highlights the problems with social media platforms of all kinds, and the [often] dangerous outcome of rubbish being peddled as fact .
Without hurting anyone either.... except their record companies' bottom line.  ;)

I walked past a small local cafe today. Rammed full of customers and the door shut.😕

Yes we were in one such cafe this morning. Had egg on toast and a pot of tea. Very nice it was too. We've decided that there's no point being triple jabbed if we remain hostages to this virus.

Here in Scotland they would all be required to wear masks unless eating.

Yep, the same here, as well as your vaccination pass to get in.

The French and the Scots are being so much more sensible about this, than us. Why can't we just keep wearing masks, is it really such an infringement on our civil liberties???
How can you lie there and think of England
