We'll all be pretty fit soon with all this walking, at least some good might come out of this horrible situation.

Went  to supermarket 6.15. I was the only customer in the shop. Now that's what I call social distancing.

@pansyface I always have my shopping delivered, I haven’t used my delivery pass since this started as with my fiancé home ( with transport) I can go to shops so I decided not to use up a delivery slot that someone else needs more than me but it always used to be that you could refuse items upon delivery if you had made a mistake or they had sent an unwanted substitute? Good luck!

@pansyface - if it's any help, and you can stay up, I've found that some supermarkets "release" new slots at midnight, as their systems automatically rollover and update. I've done it a couple of times, and it seems to work (ish) for Sainsburys, Tesco and Ocado. And the websites generally have a lower number of people using them so they're not as glitchy.

It's not 100% foolproof, but it's worked better for me than at other times throughout the day!

Morrison is hopeless, but I’ve had no problems with Tesco’s , they release their slots, one day at a time at midnight, tonight the slots will be for the 2nd May.  I’ve had a weekly order with no trouble at all from the site, loading, paying or anything, you do have to sit up till midnight though, and put a few items in the basket , just a couple of bottles of milk will do, then pay, you can add items later.  The only thing I’ve ever gone without is plain or bread flour, but then I like their own bread that they bake on the premises so no real worry to me, I only make crumpets.

We have two Tesco extras about 2 miles apart, plus a mini Tesco about a mile from each. We have to go 10 miles for a Morrisons.
