The answer will depend on your own particular situation.
For example my Mum lives on her own and is not being shielded.
Myself and my son (one household) can now see my Mum or she can visit us inside the house.
We don't have to observe the 2m rule.
Myself and my son cannot however interact in the same way with any other household.
So we will basically be a social bubble of 3 people.
We still have to observe the rules outside this bubble.

Several members of staff at work have had the antibodies test and nobody has had the virus apparently. Quite surprising given the nature of our work. Dealing with the public without PPE throughout, travelling on public transport etc. Makes me doubt the reliability of the test to be honest.

But does the single person have to go and stay with the multiple household?
Can the many go and stay with the singleton?
    They can stay or not.
Yes the many can go to the singleton or the singleton to the many.
So I can visit or stay with my Mum or she can come to me.

In the meantime, the article Pansyface kindly posted, clarifies everything. And poses lots of opportunities for debate. Discuss her question re can a multiple household go and  stay with a single person. After all they’ll all be together, never mind the location....
  • So if your single you can go into your parents house and hug them. If your married you cant.i cant see this working.already the lockdowns crumbled.only by sheer weirdness is the death toll going down.

Virtually every time I have been to a shop or garden centre/nursery since the restrictions started someone has always broke distancing. I can't think of a time when they haven't.
