I think we might be related Dove, I am one of only 2 people I know who dont speed, and I wont drink anything alcoholic at all and drive. My youngest daughter says, how on earth do I manage to stick perfectly to 30mph, I think I could do it with my eyes closed.

It's awful difficult to stay at 20mph when going down a steep london suburban hill.

It's the letters that mattered @Dovefromabove as husband works in industry and has been working from home on the provision that he was to get one. We were a bit panicked yesterday as it looked as though all people without one would have to pay back the time , and 12 weeks is impossible. He is still ok to work at home at the moment but his company is still undecided about how they will handle this.

Yes, they’ve been making it up as they go along ... there is no precedent is there ... lets hope there’s also some flexibility in the system. 😊

Hope so. Otherwise he would be working in an office with others or in the factory,  all of which has internal recycled air.😟

It does seem that air con etc may be a problem doesnt it?  I heard that it may be responsible for the rapid spread of infection on cruise ships etc.

First time out in a week, yesterday I queued for half an hour to get into the supermarket. Everyone was well spaced out in the car park. Trolleys were being wiped down.  It was sunny so not too bad. The woman behind me had a mask and gloves. Many had gloves on. Then I coughed.  I was only clearing my throat, honest.

Try having hayfever symptoms! Talk about funny looks. I'm taking antihistamine to damp it down but they're OTC ones 'cos  don't want to bother the doctor for a prescription for the stronger ones.

Yesterday I walked 1 mile into town for groceries, queued for 1 hour and spent 10 mins inside! Forgot it was Easter this weekend hence the long queue!
Everyone social distancing, supermarket security and staff making sure everything is done properly. My son works there but is on holiday this week.
Then had to walk a mile home with a loaded trolley and a bag (buying for my Mum as well).
After a rest my son and I walked to my Mums (another mile) to drop off her 'supplies' and then continued round Carisbrooke Castle as our exercise.
Met only a handful of people all at the correct distance.

Also saw a few of these painted stones around!
