That makes sense actually. I wonder if it's done this way on purpose then?
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

@Nanny Beach  yes definitely a week before I felt like 'me' again. I probably should have told my Dr how bad I was. Not looking forward to the 2nd one. Will mention it to them when I go.

Think its luck of the draw @wild edges   I do know of several couples that had the vaccine on the same day. Weirdly one was ill and the other wasn't on all cases 🤷🏻‍♀️

It also appears to be more likely to have a reaction with the AZ vaccine.

@wild edges, when I got a phone call I immediately asked about my wife,  & they let her come too, even though she is a year younger.  We have just had our 2nd dose,  about 2 hrs ago, again both together even though they gave us appointments nearly 40 mins apart.

I was done and dusted 30 minutes before my appointment time, ironic, the old man drove off to Wickes,I had to wait outside, near the sea front -2 for 30 minutes,he is 8 years younger,he was a month after me,and was 30 minutes late

OH and I had ours together, and my parents had theirs together for both doses. No-one in my family has had any side effects other than local soreness around the injection site.

@Nanny Beach  I had mine midday and felt fine until the next morning when I woke with a muzzy headache. By 11 o'clock that morning I had the headache from hell and was in bed with a high temperature and stomach cramps. I felt dizzy and couldn't bare any light and thought my head would explode. Couldn't eat anything and by early evening I couldn't even keep water down. Was like that for a few days.  The headache eased but I had slight headache for almost a week, then slept most of the time and felt completely exhausted.
My OH had his a few weeks before me and just had an achy arm for a day or two. We both had the AZ 🤷🏻‍♀️

Just had the pneumonia jab. Same arm as the Covid jab I had just over a month ago - it will be interested to see how the arm reacts to that.
