Absolutely @Te didn't you know?  The barcode nonsense is just fake news, I have a nanachip I'm pretty sure judging from the lump on my arm.

By the time you'd driven 200 miles, they'd probably have done the deed so it would be far better to contact someone who lived near the person who was suffering the emergency, whatever it might be, rather than wasting time and breaking lockdown into the bargain.

I've just read about one couple flying in from Brazil who are claiming they aren't working so can't afford it!
Eh? If they aren't working, why are they flying anywhere? I thought it was essential travel only. Or is that just outbound?

My barcode is beginning to appear at the site of the injection. It just looks a bit like a faded tattoo at the moment but  understand it will become clearer over time. Barcode is apparently a misnomer. It's more of a Q code.

  • My sister and her husband are getting their jabs Friday! He's 68 but she's only 60.is this because some areas have already done the people in that age group so are going to the next one?she doesn't know but is thrilled off  course.as am I.only me left and I'm 54 so not expecting it until the end of april?
  • Yes ,  me & my wife were vaccinated 3 weeks ago at 67 & 66 respectively.  Our GP surgery phoned and asked if we could get to the clinic in the next 40 minutes.  We didn't hesitate,  they were obviously filling slots where people hadn't turned up.

The 60-65s started here last week. My sister who is 62 had hers today too (not in my area).
