Since I had my first jab, I've had three phone calls inviting me to book a jab. Obviously the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. This is probably messing up the take up statistics. I hope that this confusion is not causing slots to be wasted.

    Totally agree @Allotment Boy.
Health workers preaching COVID fake news and also those refusing the vaccine, should not be working.
I had to have up to date Hepatitis B vaccine status, I don't see this as any different.
How can you lie there and think of England

I wasn't saying because Amanda Holdens parents looked attractive and young they had no problems,I was trying lighten the mood, and the papers kept refereing to her "elderly" parents. I have 2 sons who are registered disabled with severe mental problems. They live 30 and 40 miles away from me.They are around 40, and look perfectly "normal", I have had rows with people in public, when they have had meltdowns. As Punkdoc rightly says there can be very little in the way of exceptions to the rules/laws/lockdown otherwise the whole thing is completely pointless.I have a daughter, who is going through the menopause, was in a very complicated controlling relationship, severely depressed, she lives 30 miles away, would I rush to drive to her, would she expect it, NO.  I love all my children dearly, but If I drove 30 miles in a very worried state I would be a danger to others, frankly. No, we don't know the "reason" she decided to do this, and there seems to be a mentality "oh, well, members of the government did it".  It's not just because she is "famous", there are other idiots mentioned that have driven several hundred miles for a burger, walk, etc, (or so they claim!!) I also watched that programme, I wanted the reporter to ask the Nurse, why she thought/believed the pandemic was fake.

Do people believe that going forwards with the virus that it’s right or wrong to ask people to perhaps provide proof of having had the vaccine to enable people perhaps to travel abroad; attend their place of work; enter certain buildings - concerts etc, I did read somewhere recently that one employer was changing his staffs T&Cs stating that all his employees would need to be vaccination to work for his company, do you see it as a positive if a company could advertise that the staff had all been vaccinated, do you think that this will have a knock on effect into tourism, leisure etc

  • I think certain venues privately owned, will ask for proof of Vaccination. We will not be required to show proof of this when travelling abroad, but other countries may well want proof. Ive had to provide proof of Yellow fever and Cholera,in African countries, so why not Covid? It would need photo ID or bits of paper would be "borrowed"

The bar code that some of the bewildered believe is being injected into us would come in handy for this purpose.

What's with the people now flying into the UK from the 'red' list of countries, who are now complaining about the need and cost of hotel quarantine? They can't claim they don't know about the regs. I've just read about one couple flying in from Brazil who are claiming they aren't working so can't afford it! Excuse me, how much does two tickets from Brazil to the UK cost?  I see also, they've already fined 4 people £10,000 each for lying about where they'd flown from. Good!
