The virus pandemic is an immediate and, in the scheme of things, a short-lived problem which has nothing to do with the global warming crisis and will be controlled quite easily once the vaccines are available and administered world wide.
Global warming will take a long time to halt, let alone reverse and requires action from every single human on the planet to do their own bit as well as governments acting imaginatively and decisively to change how we make and use energy and natural resources, unilaterally if needs be but better if co-ordinated and done collectively.

BenCotto, you and me both, I have every "side effect" shown on the leaflet. My temp was down by 4 am, but I washed ,dressed, that nearly killed me, on the sofa all day
I'm off to get my second shot this afternoon. I'm nervous as the first one had a reaction, and this second shot is supposed to have a greater reaction. I have been trying to take extra care this week to get enough sleep and drink enough water, hoping that might help. We'll see!
Yes if you've not had a reaction to vaccine before, but get a bad one to this, it MAY, suggest that you have had the infection before. The second dose may do the same. Some Medics are saying try not to take anything, unless you are really ill let the body build the strongest antibody response possible.
@Allotment Boy Yes, I‘ve heard that theory from someone I teach with. I have only tested once for Covid, prior to a dentist visit, negative. I have not had Covid symptoms ever either. I wear a mask, distance, and do not have a social bubble beyond members of my house. I also teach over 350 mask wearing students each week, so it's completely possible I've had it and been symptom free. But no one else in my family of four have shown signs either, so I find it unlikely. But possible.
I'm five hours out, and no issue other than a sore arm.. but last time it took 8 hours for flu symptoms to start.. so I will try for a good night sleep and see what comes.
Allotment Boy, what do you mean "try not to take anything? Where are you Punkdoc, I understood it's your immune system causing "side effects". I also understood that if you have had the virus before, you do not get a reaction with the vaccine, because body reconises it, and feels there is no thread. had the AZ, most people I have spoken o have some kind of reaction, however, one friend who had the Pfizer had nothing other than a slightly sore arm.I have never had any symptoms of Covid, I am doing St Marys Hospital Covid trial, had an antibody test last month, they said because the labs were so busy it would take around 8 weeks to get the results back
My understanding is that it’s the other way around @Nanny Beach ... if you have a bad reaction to the Covid vaccine it may be that you have been exposed to the virus before, either because you’ve had COVID-19 or because you’ve had a second dose of the vaccine, your immune system recognises it and attacks it, all guns blazing.
That is certainly what my son’s employer (a pharmacist) has told him.

As @Obelixx says, it's for all of us to take action.
It's too easy to blame governments, although, of course, they need to act too.
