Coughs and sneezes spread diseases. Should be taught before primary school. Virus ir no virus. Maybe it should be the message on the podium. More relevant than stay alert
Catch it bin it kill it was really effective. They never should have stopped that campaign.
People can't choose not to cough or sneeze, they need to know how to make it safer when they do.
The wipes I have are Dettol, they are made from 100% plant fibres, and are 100% biodegradable. Also says they kill 99.9 against both bacteria AND viruses.
Good heavens! It’s not like that in Norfolk. Most people are still pretty careful, I’ve seen quite a lot of masks in supermarkets and the distancing notices are still being obeyed in Tesco though not by all, especially young people who seem more casual.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
It does indeed. We don't go anywhere near our local beaches in July and August except once 2 years ago to show visitors with a 10 yr old where they are and where to park. Far too busy but not that bad and not be ventured while this virus is about/
How do people not know and understand the risks?

How how can anyone enjoy themselves on that beach? Looks a nightmare to me.
I live on the very outskirts of Brighton, and avoid the main stretch of the seafront like anything*. Even without the threat of coronavirus! That bit of the beach is the bit between the two piers, which is always crazy busy, mostly with visitors. For locals, you just have to head either east or west from the main stretch to get a bit more space...
I have also never understood why cramming on to the same bit of beach as the rest of the world is remotely enjoyable. I look at photos like this and think that is my idea of hell on earth.
I think that the photo shows an odd perspective, and that there would be enough space between groups to avoid a real risk of transmission, especially as it's outside. But the problem is then that amount of people using the same toilets and facilities - germ central! I don't begrudge them for not wearing masks, but I do think it's just so short-sighted to go somewhere so rammed. I mean, really?? With all that is going on at the moment?? The beach will still be there next year!
A nice quiet spring day, earlier in the year, far outside the main stretch of town, and you have an absolutely beautiful beach. Perhaps I'm too grumpy to live near a tourist destination...
*(was going to write "like the plague". Perhaps a little inappropriate nowadays!)
I contacted Dettol, they said whilst their products were guaranteed to prevent some viruses, (the ones mentioned on the bottle) they couldn’t guarantee this current COVID, they hadn’t been given any to test so couldn’t know. I still stick with thick washing up liquid on a clothe for worktops and hands for outside if you can’t get to a tap.
Obviously the virus doesn’t spread that easily, when the lockdown partially ended on the 25 th May, people were crowding onto beaches, Since then we’ve have a rave, Corbin’s brothers lot of protesters in London, black riots and protests, where is the 2nd wave, giving the incubation period of 2 weeks, we should have seen an increase, but it’s not, it’s still in decline.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

This is my kind of Beach. Its 3 miles long and masses of room for everyone. I nip down there most days early morning ( 7 am) with my coffee and enjoy the views and see just dog walkers and horses who have to be off the beach by 10 am. After that its still pretty quite given the size of it plenty of room for everyone.
