I read about that on the BBC news site. It's worrying. Testing would have to be on a regular basis. Once wouldn't be enough. Home testing kits like pregnancy testing kits would be the only answer.
And they’d have to be as simple to use and as reliable as a pregnancy test to have much value.
Just had more information about track and trace and if anyone at my workplace tests positive we will have to close down the branch for 14 days while we all self isolate with no pay. I just don’t think that will work for us and many other companies. Looking forward to seeing how that is going to pan out. We provide an essential service and surely if we close the NHS will be under added pressure. Perhaps there will be special rules for key workers?

It’s even more important for key workers to follow the rules! We are the ones coming into contact with the most members of the public including vulnerable people!
I can’t see how it can be completely unpaid.
The hospitals have had to cope with staff isolating, most have put training, upskilling and redeployment programmes into action quickly. Surely pharmacies have networks and communicate with others locally?
I ventured down to the fish n chip shop yesterday, (wouldn’t go again) that’s another story, But yes, quite safe, lots of markers on the floor and no one coughed on me.
We can’t stay in for the next two or three years surely.
I wont go to the supermarket, but then I never have.
If you don't get coughed or sneezed on, there’s not much chance of catching it.

Really?
When would anyone here feel it 'safe' enough to come out?
