Ah yes  @Hostafan1 :/ .... oh well .... may be a blessing in disguise, what with this, that and the other ... 😷

We grew white instead of purple sprouting broccoli this year for a change ... it's so delicious and rarely to be found in the shops these days ... first picking today

Looking forward to that with roast pork, crackling, apple sauce, roast potatoes and cider gravy when OH gets home this afternoon 😋

That looks lovely @Dovefromabove.  My seeds arrived this week and include purple sprouting and cavolo nero which I can't find here either as seeds or veggies.   Roast belly pork for us tonight but with broccoli, asparagus and a vaguely dauphinoise celeriac.

Cr*p weather again today and not as expected so feeling miffed.   Started off fine at dawn with lots of tuneful birds about but now it's howling winds and wet stuff and everyone in hiding.  Good job I have lots of indoor interests.

I hope all other Forkers are having better weather and some fun.

Blue skies and some sunshine here @Obelixx ... albeit with some grey fluffies scudding past ... today is the first time this year I've had washing out on the line  💨

It'll be your fault when they stop scudding and start dropping then @Dovefromabove.

massive hail storm passed through 15 mins ago. Soooooooooooo bored with it.
I was hoping for sunshine for our viewings on the flat this afternoon.

    Morning all.  :)

Hope you get someone really lovely viewing your flat, @Hostafan1.

Ireland is supposed to be getting the next storm on Tuesday.  Today's wind/sun/rain combo is just a rehearsal, I guess...

Last postcard, because I’m back folks 👍🏻 Had an amazing time - love Australia @Pat E 😍😍😍. We saw some beautiful places in Tasmania and the Whitsundays, and really enjoyed our relaxing time in Sydney and Coogee. Feeling sad at leaving littlest chicklet behind, but happy that I can now visualise her in her home, Uni and new bar job.  Plan to go back for a short trip mid-summer - unless the world is in total lockdown by then 🙄

Feel like I am emerging from a wonderful holiday bubble, to a slightly baffling world of reality.  Looking forward to escaping into the garden in the coming months.

But before that Chicklet and I are having a couple of days in Paris to celebrate her birthday at the end of this week - booked bargain Eurostar seats back before anyone had heard of novel viruses.  Having just travelled right across the world, seems a short hop across the channel is not too foolhardy.

Hope your viewings go well @Hostafan1 - good job we didn't take the Bentley round your very narrow Devon lanes, not sure we could have reversed 1/2 a mile in it!
Enjoy your trip to Paris @chicky - good job it's not to Italy, having just seen the news.
