Morning @Dordogne Damsel 😊. Tell Charlie ‘radishes’ var.  “French Breakfast” 😉   Ive sown some Swiss chard this week ... and I’m going to sow a pot of water cress today ... that grows quickly and it doesn’t even need a veg patch and it’s good for us and a little goes a long way 😋

Morning DD and Dove. Sunny here today as well. It’s amazing how similar our autumn is to your spring.
I’ve done well with walking today. 4644 steps. 👏

wornout now though. Tv for us.

Good morning.  Bright and sunny again here and the sun is noticeable higher every day.  Rose garden weeding for me and then, maybe, another rose or two planted but first more coffee and then putting up the three swallow's nest forms I found when clearing out the garden shed yesterday.

Lots of fun to be had out there and an endless list of jobs and projects but not necessarily all the supplies I need - mainly rusty mesh and posts.   Will have to get inventive.

Keep smiling folks and stay positive.  Stay safe.

Morning all/afties Pat. Autumn and spring are very similar really, when you think about it. Apart from stuff dying during one , and coming to life during the other - in theory anyway ;)
Someone has kindly sent us a wee frost and the sun - hurrah! Thank you kindly. It's already almost as warm as it was at best yesterday, and without the wind. Double hurrah! Clocks change tonight remember.
I even managed to get an online shop to collect. Triple hurrah! Only problem is - it's for the middle of April, and it's Tesco.  We might be on to the bird food and twigs and berries by then.  :D
I'll be able to go and get some stuff before then, but it takes the pressure off. As old Gloria said 'I will survive...' The annoying thing is - I just watched an Asda delivery van a few houses along. You'd think fairylet could swing one for us wouldn't you? They were still in meltdown mode last time I looked, and nothing showing to even click on.
Bless his wee cotton socks @Dordogne Damsel. You'll be ok for lettuce then! Do you grow chard? The girls got me some seed as a present a while back, and it's very useful. I use it like cut and come again lettuce mostly, but great if grown on too. I've even got a pot of it sitting in front of me right now, that's been overwintered.
Hugs for anyone needing them, especially @punkdoc & Moira. It's really not funny.

Hello - weekly check in to see how you're all doing. Mixed, seems to be the answer.

Glad to hear Fairylet sr is on the mend, hoping young Gabriel perks up soon. Sorry to hear about pdoc's MIL. Hope everyone else is keeping well.

I've been working - ironically I seem to be busier now than for some time. I always work mostly online, but now with everyone online suddenly I'm being included in stuff that I wouldn't have been before. It won't continue if this situation persists for months, so I'm making the most of it and hoping I do actually get paid for the work I'm doing (can never be sure) so we can build up a bit of a cushion to tide us over.

All of which means I've not got much gardening done. OH's digger is now off hire but still here because the company he got it from can't come to collect it. With me indoors, there's a lot of 'landscaping' going on. Every now and then I go outside for my daily exercise and find a new hole or heap. Keeps him happy. I guess I'll just have to adapt my garden plans to the new arrangements.

Hoping to get some seeds sown this weekend but for now I need to get the bread started. Have a good week everyone if I don't see you - and stay safe :)

    Morning folks.
Hope everyone is doing ok. Special hugs (social distance equivalent) to all who need one.

Just back from the NHS shop at SM (very successful) and delivery to in-laws. I have provisions to make some stews/casseroles, so will do all that tomorrow.

A bitter wind out, so prob have a chill out day today.
    Take care folks.

    Edit: what a cutie Hosta!

    Morning all.
Read back, I'm sorry about @punkdoc's MIL, hugs to Moira.

    Grey and very windy outside.

Haven't yet decided the programme for today.

    @Hostafan1 😊 he’s gorgeous 😍 do I detect a wee family resemblance 😉

@raisingirl ... a few ponds maybe, a lake like Hosta’s, a trout stream perhaps ... or another Grand Union Canal ⛵️ How much fuel is there left in the digger’s tank?
