Haven't been able to get on here all day, internet has been playing up, but seems ok now 🤞 Thank you everyone, feeling a bit better today. Throat is very very sore and still coughing 😣 Conjunctivitis is slightly better, at least my eyes weren't completely stuck together this Morning! I'm going to try and take things a bit easy for awhile and get healthy. I seem to be picking up every cold/cough going lately. Don't usually get colds so easy.
Topbird, I can remember the nurses getting my Dad muddled up with another patient.....and the surnames were completely different. 😣 They'd phoned me up to bring his glasses in as he'd apparently forgotten them......he didn't wear glasses! They also said they'd had a lovely conversation with him about his time in the Navy.....he was in the Army. I was getting worried about him being muddled, but found out it was a completely different patient 😣 They couldn't have looked any different as well.
Good morning everyone. SGL I hope that you wake up to less sticky eyes and sore throat this morning. Poor you but thanks a million for giving us such a wonderful picture - it did make me chuckle as I had just heard on the news about a van driver in London who had been fined £300 for his van being 1 ton overweight - it was full of toilet rolls! They were obviously the size of the one in your picture.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Wild night last night and I will have to retrieve rubbish that has been blown into my front garden. Its paper bin day today - thank goodness I had wedged my bin against the hedge!

Morning Hazel and Ruby. Good luck with the shopping Hazel. I'm missing out on visiting my Bestie today as she has to take her Mum to a Doctor's appointment so I'm off to my nearest GC that has stacks of other outlets in its building and there is an aquatic centre there too. I am after a few more tropical fish.

Morning A sunny and blustery day here - which is good fun as the tree surgeons are working 40’ up the mature trees out front. The power has been off since 9am (for the tree work) so I keep thinking ‘I’ll just do this....’ and then remembering that particular job requires electrickery... Want to stay around the house so I may have to resort to Col TT stuff
No news from the hospital. OH will be going later with his mum so we’ll find out the latest then.
Enjoy ‘browsing’ LB - I’ll take a chocolate bet something leaps into your bag!
Have a good day the rest of you.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Hazel it’s a lovely way to remember Joyce and the buddleia will attract butterflies. Lily I hope you can rest. I must admit since taking the zinc I haven’t had a full blown cold as I was getting one after the other. I bought them on the River by Lindens one is zinc with magnesium and b6 and the other is zinc with vitamin c. The second is almost a years supply. They are reasonably priced and I’ve ordered from Lindens before. They are letterbox friendly individually. I hope you feel better soon. LB you worked hard yesterday taking care of your fish you may need some Radox to relax your muscles. Enjoy your time at the garden centre. There’ll be a lot to interest you. It’s sunny as I write but still cooler temperatures. Hope you have a good day. I’m just having a cup of tea.
This tiny begonia leapt into my basket along with the orchid compost that I had gone there for. Rosie, I like the sound of that zinc supplement. I have a slight problem with the suggest Radox treatment though - I only have a shower. Got rid of the bath!
Hazel a great thought about the buddelja in memory of Joyce but didn't you and your OH dig one out of your garden not too long ago?
