Good evening Ante. I hope that all your saplings were safe. You say 'old trees', were these yours or roadside trees? I reckon you should watch Poirot

    Hi LB.
It was a roadside trees, but I lost one huge Elder tree. It was a real mess with branches on all sides.
    It's Poirot indeed.😁

Thats a real shame Ante. Perhaps you could get another one. They are such pretty trees.

On the bright side I held a jug out of the window and it filled in about twenty seconds so my plants have had rainwater at least!

I keep squash bottles of rainwater in my kitchen so that the rainwater reaches the ambient temperature of the room, then its not such a shock to the house plants. Its good to collect the rainwater if you can Chey. Some plants don't like tap water and everything in it.

Good morning.  I’ve just put the kettle on.  It feels rather cold here.   I hope you slept.
