Topbird I hope you have a restful evening after your travels.  I’m pleased to hear fil is better than expected.  Ante lovely pictures.  Chive hope you had a good day.  It’s been fairly chilly here.  LB have a good evening.  Night night.

Time to take it easy T'Bird. A little bit of positive news about your FIL. Are the workmen replacing your bargeboards and fascias? You're right, having your own 'home base' is quite liberating. Will you be in Yorkshire for the weekend?

OH will be in Yorkshire for as long as it takes LB. I will be here for at least a couple of days but I don’t need to be home until Wed night - so we have the freedom to do what we have to do over the next day or so but maybe also have a little ‘normal’ time.

We’re about 5 miles outside York and we used to live up here so it might be good to explore some old stomping grounds.🙂

Good morning everyone. Just bracing myself before the visit to the sorting office to pick up my parcel. I think it may be some plug plants I'm waiting for so I don't want to leave them languishing over the weekend. There is a tiny amount of frost here but I think it may be another sunshiny day. Whatever you do today, don't overdo it and enjoy the day. T'Bird, I'm sure it will nice revisiting places and it may help ease the stress.

Morning all🙂 Slept like a log last night & so did OH - think the events of the last few days finally caught up with us and we were both completely jiggered.

Woke to a beautiful calm, sunny but very frosty morning - gorgeous. Think we’ll go to MIL’s this morning to collect the car OH left there on Wed and then I’ll go and have a mooch round Selby abbey - been promising myself a visit for years. Then hospital and maybe a takeaway tonight.

Have a lovely walk and chat with your sister Debs.

Hope the parcel is waiting for you LB.Which plants are they.

Hello Rubee - thought at one stage We might have been crossing paths at Jimmy’s in Leeds but it seems not. If FIL is transferred anywhere it will be Hull.

Hello Debs, Ruby and T'Bird. I'm back from my foray into town. Debs, if your weather is anything like mine (and T'Bird's by the sound of things) you have a beautiful day for a walk with your sister. Enjoy!
Here are my plug plants. They look nice and healthy.
