Good morning all! Hope you have a lovely Saturday to look forward to. I am a busy bunny 🐰 Garden centre for lunch and shopping with youngest daughter then middle daughter is 30 tomorrow so going to a posh party tonight at a cocktail bar in Birmingham! I also need to make some soap as a present for sisters MIL. She is very fussy and sister is always looking for ideas, I had made some for my niece who is vegan and won’t use shower gel ( plastic packaging) and MIL was admiring it. Quick cuppa then I need to grate lemon rind!
Morning LB, debs and all later to come. No gardening for me today. Wind and heavy rain, and snow in the hills. Forecast was completely wrong for today. I'll rest and do some small stuff around the house. There is always something to do inside.
Debs, enjoy in GC with your daughter. Don't spend too much😁.
Morning Ante, Chey and Ruby. Sorry about the horrid weather Ante but you are right, there is always something to be done in the house. No no no Chey, its not bread you need its toilet rolls!
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Morning - see life is plodding on for the Rezzers. Have a lovely day Debs - sounds like fun. Chey - do they not have bakers in Buxton? 😉 Ante - I’m itching to get out in the garden but weather and events have conspired to prevent that. Wondering if my roses are ever going to get pruned this year. Won’t kill them if they don’t will it?
Not much change here. FIL not doing well but he seems stable in an incredibly frail state. His conversation is a bit confused but he knows who we all are and remains a gentleman full of pleases and thank yous when anybody does anything for him. He’s charmed all the nurses anyway. Latest development is that sister in law (who is staying with MIL) has picked up a cold (probably on the flight over) so now can’t visit her dad. To be hoped MIL doesn’t pick it up too. Maybe it’s not a cold. Maybe it’s THE virus. I’d better go buy a trolley load of toilet rolls.....
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Good morning LB and Debs. I had a sleep in this morning so late on parade. Debs enjoy your outings with your daughters this weekend. I’ve been having lunch with my sister lately and visiting a lovely whole food store which has a cafe and does delicious food and the other week we went to Bettys but I like the whole food store best where your surrounded by interesting food. Sm shop this morning with dad when I wake up properly. Just having a cup of tea. Have a good day.

Got to the SM about 25 minutes after they opened and got my bread! I've been trying for days!
