Morning Debs. What birds have you spotted so far? Don't worry Chive, I already spoken to my brother and told him I'm not intending going down tomorrow as the forecast sounds pretty horrendous and I'm still coughing. I've had Lily's TV on - might be lucky and get everything sorted before the rain arrives . I've made some chocolate chip cookies and prepared the last of my stored apples for stewing later. I want to be able to sit and watch the rugby without feeling guilty! (I NEVER feel guilty!) Missing my rugger b****r mate Runners. I hope she is more settled now after her difficult time.

I I had quite a lie i this morning, maybe too long😀.  Wishing you all a good weekend.  Looks like everyone’s battening down the hatches just in case.  LB let’s hope the rugby can go ahead.  Debs it’s good your enjoying yourself.  The break will do you good.  Chive I think I’ll join you in eating LBs chocolate cookies.

Recovering from a torrid Calcutta Cup match. The weather in Edinburgh was vile and often the camera lenses were spattered with rain drops. At least England regained the cup though it was very hard work for both sides. Chive, I'm wondering about the calm before the storm too. It would be lovely to think that it changed direction and just blew away over the top of the UK. I hope that M-U's Outdoorsers' house is safe from rising river water.

    Good evening to all.
I had a whole day just for me and I used it well. After curry and strudel for lunch I went out into the garden. It was beautiful spring, warm day. Really enjoyed work on the sun.
I'm relaxing now and watching King's speech.

    Happy Birthday debs.🎁🎂

    How are you all together?

Signing out for tonight. If we are lucky we will see the first Snow moon of the decade. All the night owls will get the best views. Rosie if you are awake in the early hours and the sky is clear where you are you should get a super view. See you all tomorrow.

Evening everyone - sitting here stuffed with Schweine Haxe at the Bad Kreuzenach brewery camp site. It was a huge lump of meat - we’ve brought half of it back to the van for cold pork sandwiches / salad / curry etc etc - enough pork for a week. Good beer and wine too!

Temperature is about 12 degrees warmer than it was in Garmische so feeling positively tropical. Think the second duvet is coming off tonight.

Has been a very long day - a 7 hr drive - but we’ve broken the back of the drive back to Hook of Holland. Tomorrow is a lazy spa day then Monday & Tuesday ambling back towards the ferry terminal for an overnight crossing.

This storm for tomorrow sounds pretty horrible. Kinda wish I was at home to keep an eye on things but there you go. Fingers crossed all is well for all of us.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
